Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners with Moody Nolan and Hood Design Studio, the much-anticipated project faced controversy and COVID-related setbacks on its road to completion. 

With the completion of four new rooms including a library and a camera obscura housed in what was once a janitorial closet, the facility at the Victoria and Albert Museum is the largest of its kind in the UK.

Design commissions for the Shelburne Museum and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art are announced and make their Venice Architecture Biennale debuts, respectively.
